  1. Wash and make marks on the potatoes, microwave for 7 - 8 mins.
  2. Soak in water and peel the skin.
  3. Mash well using a fork.
  4. Then trim the sides of the bread, soak in water and squeeze away immediately.
  5. In a bowl, take the mashed potatoes, bread, finely chopped chilies, cumin powder, coriander leaves, salt and mix well.
  6. Pinch into small balls, flatten them into small discs.
  7. In a bowl, mix the corn flour with water and salt.
  8. Coat the patties in corn flour mix all over and then coat with bread crumbs.
  9. Heat oil for deep fry.
  10. Gently drop the tikkis and fry on all sides. Serve it with Ketchup or Chutney
