Green Gram Usli is a snack item.I usually prepare this dish for evening snack in my house.I like to make my dishes spicy always. Today also I have made this dish spicy. I am very much concerned about the health issues of my family members. So I have a habit of preparing dishes using all the grams. Especially this green gram is rich in calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium and fiber content.Mainly for veggies these dishes are highly rich in nutrition value. Friends, always try to have healthy dish in daily Life. Don’t become lazy to cook at home mainly talking to House wives.

  1. Switch on the stove first and heat the pan with 5 spoons of oil. Wait till oil is heated.
  2. Add mustard seeds and wait till it sparkels.
  3. Add urad Dal, saute it for few minutes till it becomes reddish brown.
  4. Add chopped chillies, chopped curry leaves and chopped onion.Fry it till all vegetables gets cooked well.
  5. Now add boiled 1 cup of green gram and salt.Mix well and allow it to cook for few minute.
  6. Add coconut at last and allow it to boil for few minutes till the salt gets mixed well with green gram.
  7. Now,Switch of the stove and serve the green gram usli in a plate as I have shown.Tasty mouth watering usli is ready.Freinds prepare this dish in your house and reply me how it tastes.
