Jackfruit is one of its own kind of tropical fruits, recognized for its unique shape, size, and fruity flavor of its bulbs that can be appreciated from a distance. The fruit is deliciously sweet in taste. Like other tropical fruits it is rich in energy, dietary fiber, minerals, and vitamins and free from saturated fats or cholesterol, making it one of the healthy summer treats to relish!

This recipe is cooked with Raw Jackfruit. Jackfruit cooked with a variety of masalas. Simple flavors, great taste!

  1. Cut raw Jackfruit into cubes
  2. Boil it with water and salt in pressure cooker, till pressure cooker whistles once
  3. Open the cooker and throw the water
  4. Heat oil in open vessel
  5. Put bay leave. Then chopped onions
  6. Masala: ginger, garlic ,black pepper , clove, cardamom, red chilli, cinnamon, jeera you need to wet grind
  7. If you like you can add 2-3 potatoes
  8. Now add the boiled jackfruit and salt
  9. Cover and cook till it is done
