  1. Prepare chapathi dough and keep aside
  2. Soak chana dal overnight
  3. In a cooker, cook it for about 2-3 whistles
  4. In a frying pan, take 2 tbsp of oil
  5. Add mustard seeds, wait till it pops
  6. Add cut onions, green chillies and curry leaves
  7. When the onion turns golden brown add ginger garlic paste
  8. Add cooked chana to the pan
  9. Grind some of the cooked chana and one medium sized tomato
  10. Add the mix to the pan and add MTR chana masala powder
  11. Allow it to boil for 5-10 min in low flame
  12. In meantime, heat oil in other frying pan for pooris
