Veg Momos

Veg Momos is Usually related with cabbage but this could be made in different veggies like squash better known as chow chow. In order to make the veg momo more tasty, you could add paneer, carrot and coriander. However, the main ingredient or the masala for veg momo is Ginger.

  1. Chop the cabbage , add some salt to the cabbage, mix it and keep it aside for about 15-20 min
  2. Chop the onion too, put it into a container which is big enough to mix the ingredients well.
  3. Clean the ginger and make a rough paste , clean the coriander and chop it.
  4. Squeeze the water from the cabbage.
  5. Now add the cabbage after extracting the extra water, chopped onion, ginger, coriander and salt.
  6. Mix it well , add some vegetable oil so that mixture doesn’t become too dry.
  7. Make a dough of the maida, make sure it is not too soft nor hard.
  8. Put the stuffing on the rolled dough and start making pleats from one end to other and fold in the centre
  9. Use the momo steamer to cook the momos for 20 minutes
